An album cover I did for the Cologne-based band "Rhein und Rausch". Their first album "Jahrmarkt" (funfare) is about everything that moves the three musicians, be it friendship, love, desire or simply having a good time together.

The concept of the cover was to create a scenery from all the lyrics of the nine songs on the debut album. Ranging from very different emotions and moods, the scenery of a funfare gave enough possibilities for all the different scenes to fit together in a huge puzzle of a picture. Not only are all the songs represented on the cover, but also the musicians themselves are hidden throughout the situations and scenes. 

The CD also comes with a lyrics booklet, with illustrations taken from the cover –
directly connecting the scenes on the cover with the matching songs.
